How Your Files Are Handled
Every conversion runs in its own isolated temporary directory with a separate LibreOffice user profile, so one request's files are never visible to another. Uploads and TLS connections are protected end to end.
Once your converted file is returned, that temporary directory — including your original upload — is deleted immediately as part of the same request. We advertise a 1-hour maximum retention window as a conservative upper bound; in practice, cleanup happens within the same conversion request, not held for later.
Conversions are performed by LibreOffice running headless (the same rendering engine used in the desktop application), not a proprietary or third-party conversion API — your file never leaves our own servers during conversion.
