Description of Service
SimpleConverter.online provides a free online file conversion service that allows users to convert documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and images between various formats. The Service is powered by LibreOffice and runs on our secure servers.
Use License
SimpleConverter.online grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and commercial file conversions, subject to these Terms.
You may NOT:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
Usage Limits
To ensure fair access for all users, the following limits apply:
- Maximum file size: 10MB per file
- Daily conversions: 3 files per IP address per day
- File retention: All files are automatically deleted within 1 hour
These limits may be adjusted at our discretion. Attempts to circumvent these limits may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions.
User Content
You retain all rights to files you upload to the Service. By uploading files, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to the files you upload
- Your files do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your files do not contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Your files are not subject to export control restrictions
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SimpleConverter.online and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Conversions will be 100% accurate in all cases
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Results of using the Service will be satisfactory
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleConverter.online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from file loss or corruption
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your files
- Damages resulting from service interruptions
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SimpleConverter.online and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
